 Today has mainly been spent listening to Hip Hop and helping Xzibit work out an album title on Twitter. Music wise we've had Common, Pharoahe Monche, Black Milk, 9th Wonder & Buckshot amongst others. Thoroughly enjoyable if I do say so myself and it was work related. Can you ask for anything better? Xzibit asked for some album title help. He suggested 'Transition 2 Power' which I wasn't a fan of as it sounded like the strapline to a Fast & Furious film.  Susan Tonic is away at SXSW but in truth sat here in our Poland Street office you could actually be there. The sun is beaming in, the smell of Bodeans BBQ is wafting through the office and I'll throw on a few 'unsigned' artist CDs just to give it that authentic feel. There was an A&R roadblock in the office not more than 10 minutes ago when I put on the Rolo Tomassi album. The cheque books were flying...As for the photo it was taken about an hour ago just outside the Royal Festival Hall. Tis a well known tropical paradise down along the South Bank |

 So the sun is shining in London for the fifth day in a row, surely that must be a meteorological record. I may check that with the Met Office.Anyway the sun has inspired me to listen to lots of 'summery' records and albums. I've just got a copy of 'Wrong' by Depeche Mode in so thats up next... I'll let you know how I get on. |
