Dickon Hinchliffe is a composer, orchestral arranger, songwriter and founding member of the acclaimed British band Tindersticks.
Amongst his film score writing credits, Dickon has composed music for Mercedes and Lynx campaigns, and also scored the trailer for the Black Diamond Detective Agency graphic novel.
He began writing scores for acclaimed French director Claire Denis on her films ‘Nenette et Boni’, ‘Trouble Every Day’ and ‘Vendredi Soir’. He has since scored two Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning films – the 2010 winner ‘Winter’s Bone’ (Debra Granik) and ‘Forty Shades Of Blue’ directed by Ira Sachs (2005). Other film credits include ‘Last Chance Harvey’, ‘Married Life’, ‘Cold Souls’ and ‘Red Riding – 1980′.
