Alex Nicholls-Lee

Alex is an adept and multifaceted composer with an ear for detail. From a classically trained youth through to a stint as a scratch DJ in a hip hop troupe and his work as a sound designer, Alex enjoys a myriad of influences and composition styles: Ranging from delicate to dirty dance music, from acoustic melancholy to punk rock, and from simple and elegant through to full orchestral scoring, Alex is at his happiest with a blank canvas and a brief.

Recent musical accolades include commercials for Adidas ‘The Spark’, Bridgestone, Nike Womens, Zorg van de Zak, Kelloggs Applejacks, Lu, Sony and remix work for Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Nick Smith

Nick has been composing and sound designing for commercials for more than 10 years. His experience as a sound designer gives his approach to music a slightly more modern edge and his love for experimentation can lead to surprising results. Nick’s clients include KPN, Nike, KFC, Opel and Samsung.

Ben Tomlin

After studying traditional scoring at University Ben entered into the world of advertising where he discovered his panoramic compositions could work nicely under picture. His background in Jazz is very much intact and his music is often idiosyncratic. Full of little quirks, many have flatteringly compared his piano music to that of Eric Satie.

Juggling around his job as a Sound Engineer he is constantly writing, bursting with varied and fresh motifs that have thus far worked alongside a few short films, Shopping Centre commercials in the UK and recently a National Dutch ad campaign.

Randall Macdonald

With a degree in Music, Arts and Technology and a healthy dose of synth geekery wisdom, Randall is sure to make any sort of contemporary electronic music emphasising on the experimental side of things. His compositions are often heavily influenced by big synth sounds, heavy bass and outer world atmospherics. However when teaming up with some of his old classmates from the HKU (Utrecht school of Arts) it can often lead to more minimalistic electro-acoustic music and atmospheres.

Warren Hamilton

One of the original pioneer of musical sound design, Warren honed his skills on groundbreaking work such as Volvo, Kiss FM and Levi’s, and has consistently composed many award-winning campaigns.

As a classically trained pianist, Warren is most comfortable mixing his musical talents with his sound design expertise, and between work can be found as Wave Studios Co-founder & Creative Director.

Jack Sedgwick

Jack is a classically trained cellist who has crafted his passion for music into expert sound design, music production and dj’ing. His solid grounding in electronic & orchestral styles has brought him great success writing music to picture, including the high profile Eurostar re-launch & two remixes of the Wild Beasts for Santander’s first UK advertising campaign. A well established sound designer and a love of music production, Jack is as versatile in the studio as he is on his cello.
